Pregnant Man Is Pregnant Again! Baby Due In June!!!
Not too long ago the news about pregnant man Thomas Beatie swept through the county in huge controversial waves of awes and ewws.
Just as quickly as the story of a pregnant man hit the media, we were then hit up with the truth behind the matter.
The pregnant man was actually a woman (a transgender), and the only reason ’she’ was giving birth was because ‘her’ wife Nancy Beatie couldn’t have children.
Some people were all for the idea and found the story to be beautiful, others found it to be disgusting and morally wrong, and some…well some wondered why the story even made the news. There is nothing this media generous about a woman having a baby (except for our New Year babies), so why is the media focusing all of this attention on a pregnant chick that looks like a man?
The media however stuck with the pregnant man headlines for months no matter how deceiving it was, and Thomas managed to have his face featured on many magazine and news covers when his daughter was born.
The media frenzy won’t stop with the birth of their daughter though, because Thomas Beatie is in the news yet again, he and his wife Nancy have announced to Barbara Walters that they are expecting a second child on June 12th, according to ABC News . Thomas stated that after giving birth to their daughter Susan this June, he stopped taking male hormones so he could get ready to make baby #2.
So here we go world, get ready for this story to hit the news stand once again.
Frankly I find the whole thing to be ridiculous. I find the headlines to be deceptive, and the narrative to be nothing short of average. Women have babies everyday, and not all of them get their names in the paper. At any rate though, Thomas Beatie has received death threats, and negative comments since the story first began, which in my belief is just scandalous! I’m certain more of the same types of threats will follow once the chronicle that he is having yet another child begins to circulate throughout the world.
